During the upcoming Myanmar New Year Festival in April, entertainment shows in Yangon city will feature more ethnic dances than last year, according to Yangon region government.

Rakhine and Karen ethnic dances were performed by five ethnic troops during the New Year festival or Thingyan festival last year, and more ethnic troops will be invited to perform different ethnic dances this year, an official from the regional government said.
